Licensed seller

The seller is ODDJOY ONLINE SELLER, trading as Oddjoy, a Sole Establishment licensed by Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) for the activity Online Seller. Licence number: 1637107. Commercial register number: 2892389.

Products and descriptions

Each product page states the product's price, material, dimensions, finish, included items and other relevant details. Customers should review those details before purchase.

Some Oddjoy products are finished and packed individually. Minor non-structural differences in surface pattern or handling marks may occur between frames. These variations do not include undisclosed damage, defects or material differences from the product description.

Prices, VAT and checkout

Prices are displayed in UAE dirhams. Oddjoy is not VAT registered and does not charge VAT. Unless stated otherwise, the displayed product price is the final product price and includes free standard delivery within the UAE.

Checkout is handled through Shopify. The customer can review the order before payment. An order is accepted only after checkout is completed, payment is authorised, and Oddjoy sends or makes available an order confirmation.

Oddjoy provides a digital purchase or sales invoice for completed orders. Because Oddjoy is not VAT registered, the invoice is not a VAT tax invoice and does not display a tax registration number.

Order availability

Oddjoy may decline or cancel an order if an item is unexpectedly unavailable, an obvious technical error displayed an incorrect price, payment is reasonably suspected to be fraudulent or unauthorised, delivery cannot be completed after reasonable efforts, or an uploaded photograph cannot lawfully or technically be fulfilled.

Where practical, Oddjoy may first invite the customer to correct an order detail or provide a replacement photograph. If Oddjoy cancels an order, the customer will be notified and any amount paid for products not supplied will be refunded to the original payment method. Nothing in this section limits a mandatory consumer right.

Custom photograph orders

By uploading a photograph, the customer confirms that they own it or have the rights and permissions needed to use it for the order, including any permission reasonably required from people shown in it, and that its content is lawful.

The customer grants Oddjoy only the limited permission needed to receive, temporarily store, crop, resize, format, print and quality-check the photograph and to fulfil and support that order. This permission allows access by authorised Oddjoy personnel and the service providers required to operate the store, but not use of the photograph for advertising or any unrelated purpose.

Oddjoy does not acquire ownership of an uploaded photograph. Ownership remains with the customer or the relevant rights holder, and the limited permission ends when the photograph is no longer reasonably required for fulfilment, support or a legal obligation.

Where the browser supports it, Oddjoy creates an Instax Mini image-area crop preview. The customer may reposition, zoom, or switch between portrait and landscape before purchase. The saved crop is supplied for printing, subject to minor edge variation inherent in the physical printing process.

If a supported file cannot be previewed, Oddjoy may prepare the crop manually. Oddjoy may contact the customer if a photograph is unclear, technically unsuitable or cannot lawfully be fulfilled.

Gift notes

Customers purchasing an Oddjoy product as a gift may add an optional gift note where that option is offered. The note is printed on a separate card and supplied with the parcel. It is not engraved, etched, or permanently applied to the product. Oddjoy may contact the customer if the note cannot reasonably or lawfully be fulfilled as entered.

Cancellation before preparation

Contact Oddjoy immediately to request cancellation. Cancellation cannot be guaranteed once custom printing or order preparation has begun.

When cancellation is accepted before preparation begins, Oddjoy will cancel the order and arrange the applicable payment reversal or refund through the original payment method.

7-day change-of-mind returns

A customer may request a change-of-mind return within 7 days of delivery. The Memory Frame must be unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging. The customer pays the return shipping cost and is responsible for returning the item safely.

The custom Instax Mini print is excluded from a change-of-mind return. The customer should remove and keep it before returning the Memory Frame. After Oddjoy receives and inspects the returned frame, any approved refund is processed to the original payment method.

To request a return, contact hi@oddjoy.store or +971 55 150 9430 within the 7-day period and include the order number. Oddjoy will provide return instructions before the item is sent.

Delivery

Oddjoy currently delivers within the UAE only. Standard UAE delivery is free unless a product page states otherwise. The expected delivery time is shown before purchase, and tracking is provided after dispatch through the delivery partner.

The customer is responsible for providing an accurate and complete UAE delivery address and a reachable telephone number. If delivery fails because the address is incorrect or the recipient cannot be reached, Oddjoy will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer. Redelivery may be arranged case by case and may require payment of a reasonable additional delivery charge.

Exceptional production, address, payment or courier issues may cause delay. Oddjoy will contact the customer when a material delay becomes known.

Damage, defects and consumer rights

If an item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, incorrect, or materially different from the description, the customer should contact Oddjoy within 48 hours of delivery with the order number and photographs of the product and packaging, and retain the product and packaging while the issue is reviewed.

After verification, Oddjoy will cover the return cost, arrange an appropriate collection or prepaid return, and offer a replacement or refund as appropriate. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a mandatory consumer right under UAE law.

Oddjoy intellectual property

The Oddjoy name, logos, product photographs, illustrations, website copy, graphics, product designs and other original site content are owned by Oddjoy or its licensors and are protected to the extent provided by applicable law.

Content may be viewed and used for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. It may not be commercially copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, modified or used to create competing products or materials without prior written permission from Oddjoy or the relevant rights holder.

For a complaint, contact hi@oddjoy.store or +971 55 150 9430 and include the order number and relevant evidence. Oddjoy aims to acknowledge customer-service messages within 1-2 business days and will explain the review or resolution process.

These terms and Oddjoy transactions are governed by applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai.
